Britney Getting Married?

Star magazine reports that Britney Spears plans to wed her agent turned new boyfriend, Jason Trawick.

While vacationing in the Bahamas last month, a source reveals that the couple shared a special evening together and Jason popped the question.

The insider reveals: "He didn't exactly get down on one knee, but Brit didn’t care. She said yes, and they opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate. Jason held Britney for a long time and kissed her cheeks. They talked about their future for hours and didn’t go to sleep until after 3 a.m.! They just wanted to be alone together."

Uh-huh.

Apparently, Brit-Brit does not want to waste any time and plans on a December wedding immediately following the Circus tour. Unhappy with her last two weddings, a friend suggests that Britney wants to make this ceremony a "fairytale."

What? Vegas wasn't romantic the first time? Oh, and we bet K-Fed was super charming as he said "I do" between beer belches.

We're not completely on board with this story, but we'd like to see how it plays out!

Spears sued for running over photog's foot

A former TMZ photographer sued Britney Spears on Friday over an incident in which his foot was run over.

Ricardo Mendoza filed a civil lawsuit in Los Angeles on Friday against her, claiming that Spears negligently operated her car and committed assault and battery when she ran over his foot in Beverly Hills on Oct. 18, 2007.

Several media outlets picked up footage of the incident, including celebrity gossip site TMZ, where Mendoza worked at the time.

TMZ, which first reported the lawsuit, auctioned off his tire-stained sock and donated the proceeds to charity.

Mendoza is also suing a pair of Spears' companies, claiming their agents should have known that Spears wasn't capable of properly driving the vehicle.

The incident happened during a turbulent period for Spears, who hours earlier had lost custody of her two sons. The singer, whose most recent album is "Circus," has since regained visitation rights.

Her father, Jamie, has maintained control of the 27-year-old Spears' personal and financial affairs since February 2008.

Spears was accused of running over another photographer's foot a month after the incident involving Mendoza, but prosecutors said in that incident it was more the photographer's fault. They declined to press charges.

An e-mail message sent to Spears' publicist seeking comment was not immediately returned Friday.

Britney Spears Forgets Time of the Month

Embattled music superstar Britney Spears appears to have gotten her $h!t together of late, at least in comparison to the Lost Years of 2005-2007.

Embarking on a successful worldwide Circus tour, staying out of the psych ward and taking the kids on vacation in the Bahamas - life's going well.

There are still glimmers of the crazy, however - and let's just this incident was the opposite of her famous concert wardrobe malfunction from April.

See where we're going with this? Read on ...

The celebrity recently sat down for an Elle magazine shoot, a New York Post spy says, and it was a big mess. Literally. According to the report:

"They dressed her in all these beautiful couture clothes - and, well, let's just say she forgot what time of the month it was. It wasn't pretty."

That is so gross. Yet we are not entirely shocked.

If we knew, waking up this morning, that there would be a story going around about a star menstruating on clothes during a photo shoot, Britney Spears definitely would have been our first guess. We would also have called in sick.

On the flip side, at least she didn't let her dog defecate on the clothes, as she did at an OK! Magazine shoot last year. At least we assume not.

Britney Spears' family tour

Britney Spears has been taking parenting advice from Madonna.

The 'Toxic' singer has revealed she consulted her idol - who raises three children - when deciding whether or not to take her young sons, Sean Preston, three, and Jayden James, two, on tour with her.

A sourcesaid: "Madonna gave Britney some great advice about her kids.

Madonna told her, 'Keep them close when you're on the road. I have always taken my kids on the road with me. It's a life they learn to accept, as long as they're with their mom. You want to look back on those years and know they are with you. They'll look back on these years too and they'll be very glad to have those memories.' "

Britney - who is accompanied on her 'Britney Spears Presents the Circus' tour by her sons and ex-husband Kevin Federline, who has primary custody of the children - agreed with her mentor's view and hopes them seeing what she does first-hand will impress them.

Britney, 27, said: "I do think it's all about history. What we as mothers are doing is creating this history with our kids that we can look back on and say, 'Yeah, that was hard. But it was fun because we did it together.' When they're adults I want my kids to say, 'Wow, my mom was working hard but she was there for us.' "

However, there are some parts of her show which the 'Womanizer' star won't allow her boys to see.

An insider explained to Britain's Hello! magazine: "She wants them around all the time. Except maybe not for the parts of the show she thinks are too suggestive. A couple of times along the way Britney's mother Lynne has taken the boys out of the arena when the show gets a little outrageous."

Britney Spears’ Candie’s Ad - April Fool’s Prank?

Britney Spears Pictures

This must be an April Fool’s joke! I know Britney Spears’ body is looking much better than it did a year ago, but this new Candie’s ad is ridiculous! Britney’s body is leaner than a Barbie Doll! It’s a great Photoshop job, but Britney isn’t fooling anyone.
