

Olivia Wilde (born Olivia Jane Cockburn on March 10, 1984) is an American actress who starred on the short lived U.S. television show Skin.

Wilde was born in New York City, New York and has appeared in such films as The Girl Next Door and Alpha Dog. Olivia is the daughter of journalist Andrew Cockburn and the granddaughter of writer Claud Cockburn. She attended Georgetown Day School in Washington, DC, Phillips Andover Academy, and the Gaiety School of Acting in Ireland. Wilde is married to Prince Tao Ruspoli, an Italian American documentary filmmaker, photographer and flamenco guitar player.

She is also well known for her recurring appearances on The O.C. as Alex Kelly.

In 2005, she was ranked #61 on Maxim Magazine Hot 100.
Olivia was also heavily considered to play Vesper Lynd in the 21st Bond film Casino Royale. Eva Green eventually won the role.
