Lindsay Lohan Defends Her Weight

After debuting a startlingly skinny figure in Hawaii last week, Lindsay Lohan defends herself against critics who feel she's recently gotten too thin.

"I've been eating enough," Lohan tells E! News.

The star -- who went through a very public breakup with DJ Samantha Ronson, 31, in April -- also says that she used her time in Hawaii to relax with her family and get healthy after what was "a hard month."

"We're a tight family," she says. "We've been through a lot so we take care of each other... We went hiking and everything in Maui, so it was really good."

Still, a source told Us Weekly that the 5'5" actress showcased a skin-and-bones physique while on the island, adding that "I've never seen hipbones that stick out so much."

In fact, Us Weekly confirms in the current issue that Lohan takes Adderall, a prescription drug usually given to people for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, to lose weight.

"She takes Adderall all the time," one source told Us. "She gets jittery because of the way the pills affect her. It's a major reason why she's losing weight."

Instead of focusing on her frame, however, the actress reveals that she is close to signing on the a new film. Although she says she wants to keep the details of the movie deal confidential, she acknowledges that "it has a really good cast."

Besides movies, she's trying to relaunch her music career.

"Pharell, please call me back," she shouts out to the music producer, who she's hoping will agree to go back in the recording studio with her.

Any words for her ex, Ronson?

Find out what a body language expert has to say about the on-and-off couple.

"We're friends," Lohan says, adding that the two are still "in touch."

Lindsay Lohan in Tears: I'm in "Absolute Hell"

In the newest issue of Us Weekly, Lindsay Lohan opens up about her heartbreaking split from Samantha Ronson , the "humiliating" weekend showdown with Ronson's family, and says that friends' fears she is suicidal are unfounded.

"It's absolute hell," Lohan told Us on Monday in a far-ranging interview over several lengthy phone calls and emails where she was agitated, crying and baffled by the turn of events.

Ronson broke it off with her girlfriend of nearly two years last Friday, and hired five security guards to keep Lohan out of an afterparty for her sister Charlotte at the Chateau Marmont. (Lohan was staying directly one floor above the Ronsons with her mom Dina and sister Ali.)

The next day, Ronson changed the locks on the Hollywood Hills home she shared with Lohan. On Monday, Ronson's mom and sister asked police about obtaining a restraining order against Lohan, Beverly Hills Sgt. Nutall confirms to Us.

See what a body language expert says about Sam and Lindsay's relationship.

Lohan says she's "so alone" without Ronson.

"Everyone's turned on me," says the actress. She tells the magazine that the night of the Chateau showdown, Nicole Richie walked by her and said "Uck," and Drea De Matteo said, "Come at me, bitch."

Sources tell the magazine Ronson had repeatedly tried to break up with Lohan over the past month, but each time, "Lindsay threatens to kill herself -- she cares about her but wants out."

Lohan laughs upon hearing that, saying she's okay.

"I'm just really hurt!" she says. "The whole situation is sick."

Lindsay Lohan on the Outside Looking In

The Lindsay Lohan/Samantha Ronson relationship drama may have just gotten a family-values twist...of the knife. But the most surprising part might be that it isn't the Lohan family doing the twisting.

OK! magazine reports that Sam's designing sister Charlotte Ronson had Lindsay banned from her I Heart Ronson party Friday Night at Bar Marmont—where Sam was deejaying. OK! says that when Lindsay tried to enter, she was reportedly "held back at the door by five bouncers," because they were apparently under strict instructions to "look out for Lindsay" and "not to let her in under any circumstances."

The magazine's source says that before the show, the Ronson family had gone out of their way to keep the actress out: "Unless Lindsay rams a truck through the red carpet or skydives in, she won't be here."

And a source at the party confirms to E! that the Ronsons had asked Lohan not to attend.

While LiLo couldn't enter, other celebs including Molly Sims, Sting, Jewel and even Paris Hilton reportedly had no problem getting into the event.

Maybe Charlotte was just worried that she might get Lohan'd, as Lily Allen had been earlier this week by the spotlight-seeking actress. Samantha, meanwhile, seemed oblivious to the LiLo drama and continued spinning well after the gig's official 11 p.m. finish. Is something else officially finished? Stay tuned.

Lindsay Still With Sam: "We Aren't Broken Up"

Lindsay Lohan is still very much part of a twosome.

When asked whether there's any truth to the breakup rumors dogging her and Samantha Ronson these days (pick a day, any day), the 22-year-old actress answered unequivocally.

"Those rumors aren't true. We aren't broken up," Lohan told E! News Wednesday, speaking from a penthouse suite at the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood, where she was doing promotional work for her new spray-on self-tanner, Sevin Nyne.

Hanging out with Lohan at the hotel were sister Ali and mom Dina, who flew in from New York earlier this week to spend time with her.

Fellow star Natalie Portman also swung by to check out LiLo's chemical-free tanning mist—but Ronson was nowhere to be seen. So what really gives?

"They've been spending time with their families and working," a source told E! News. "It's normal and healthy to do that. That doesn't mean they broke up!"

We're told that Ronson, who was in Florida for a gig Tuesday, is back in L.A. and spending time today with her fashion designer sister, Charlotte, who's in town for work.

Despite going through what seemed to be a series of spats, Lohan told E! last week that she wishes people would quit fixating on her and Ronson's relationship.

"They need to stop saying we're fighting," she said. "People telling lies about me to her and all this garbage. I'm really a good person and I have a good heart and just want to work. The only reason I go to clubs is to hear Samantha spin or be normal."

Lindsay Lohan Wanted By Police

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. -- Lindsay Lohan is wanted by the Beverly Hills Police Department in connection with a 2007 DUI, Access Hollywood has learned.

According to the Associated Press, a warrant was issued for the star's arrest on Friday. Police Sargeant Mike Foxen told the AP on Saturday that the police had not yet been in touch with Lindsay. Lindsday's publicist and lawyer did not immediately return calls from the AP.

The actress is serving out a three-year probation after pleading no contest to two charges of DUI and two charges of being under the influence of a controlled substance (on two separate occasions) and reckless driving, and could go to jail if she were to violate any of its terms.

As previously reported on AccessHollywood.com, her first DUI incident occurred on May 26, 2007, when she lost control of her Mercedes and crashed into a tree near Sunset Boulevard shortly before 5:30 a.m. Although she left the scene to seek medical treatment, she later admitted to police she was the driver of the vehicle. Subsequent tests showed a substance found in her purse was .04 grams of cocaine, the District Attorney's office previously told Access.

Her mother Dina is a former Radio City "Rockette" while her father Michael was a long-time Wall Street trader before he struck it rich with a family pasta business. He has now redirected his energies into film development and producing.

Along with her three younger siblings, Michael, Aliana and Dakota, Lindsay Lohan was raised in Long Island. Lindsay was such a natural beauty that she began modeling at the age of 3. In fact, she was t
he first redheaded child ever signed by the renowned Ford Modeling Agency.

But Lindsay Lohan wasn't just a pretty child;
she was also talented. Capitalizing on her flair for performing, she was cast in over 60 TV commercials for companies such as Abercrombie & Fitch, Wendy's, the Gap, Pizza Hut, Calvin Klein, and Jell-O, in which she shared the screen with Bill Cosby.

When she was 7, Lindsay Lohan was requ
ired to dress up as garbage for a Halloween skit on the Late Show with David Letterman called "Things You Find on the Bottom of the Subway." It was her first real acting job.

In 1996, Lindsay Lohan got her second big break when she was cast on the long-running NBC soap opera Another World. For only one season, she became the third actress to portray Alexandra "Alli" Fowler.

Shortly after, she hit the highway to fame when Disney sought to remake the hugely successful family comedy The Parent Trap (1998). There was a six-month casting search and in January 1997, Lindsay Lohan got a phone call from director Nancy Meyers to announce that she had received the role that Hayley Mills made popular in the early '60s.

In addition, she also got a three-picture deal with Disney thanks to this movie. Although she turned down the part of Penny in Inspector Gadget (1999), her next move was to appear in the Wonderful World of Disney production of Life-SizeTyra Banks.

In 2000, Bette Midler was slated to star in a new sitcom called Bette, and Lindsay Lohan was cast as her daughter, Rose. But once the pilot was shot, the producers decided to move the production from New York to Los Angeles. Wanting to stay in New York, Lindsay left the sitcom. The show moved to California, actress Marina Malota replaced Lindsay Lohan and 16 episodes later, Bette was canceled.

This left Lindsay Lohan with some free time and she spent it shooting the Disney Channel Original Movie of the Month, Get a Clue (2002), in which she played a snooty school gossip columnist out to discover what happened to a missing teacher. After shooting, she took a short break from acting.

During this period, Lindsay Lohan decided to concentrate on her musical career. Having been in the entertainment industry for most of her life, she received quite a few useful phone numbers over the years. In September 2002, music heavyweight Emilio Estefan Jr. took Lindsay under his wing. She signed a five-album deal with Estefan Enterprises. In 2005, she released her debut album, Speak, followed by A Little More Personal the next year.

Next on her plate was another remake of a Disney classic. Along with Jamie Lee Curtis, Lindsay Lohan was cast in Freaky Friday (2003) and reprised one of the early roles that made Jodie Foster a household name.

The body-swapping fantasy grossed over $100 million and allowed Lindsay Lohan to showcase her singing abilities in the movie. In fact, it's because of her song "Ultimate" that the soundtrack was propelled to Billboard's Top 20 in less than three weeks.

Lindsay Lohan got back in the acting saddle with the critically and financially disappointing Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004). A few months later, she made everyone forget about it by starring in the hit Mean Girls (2004), alongside Rachel McAdams, Lacey Chabert and Amanda Seyfried.

One of 2004's youngest "It" girls could soon be seen everywhere, from hosting Saturday Night Live in May and the MTV Movie Awards in June 2004, to appearing in magazines and tabloid TV shows. In 2005, Lindsay Lohan added the movie Herbie: Fully Loaded (another Disney flick) to her resume, and in 2006 she starred in Just My Luck, A Prairie Home Companion, Bobby, and The Holiday.

As if Hollywood success weren't enough, Lindsay seemed to have been setting out to become a triple threat with the release of her debut album Speak in December 2004. But when she performed "Rumors" -- the first single off the album -- on Good Morning America, rumors began to swirl that she lip-synced because there was a backing track playing.

2007 was a mixed year for Lindsay Lohan. She appeared in the movies Georgia Rule, I Know Who Killed Me and Chapter 27. However, all that success turned Lindsay into quite the "party girl," and she was constantly seen at clubs with the likes of Paris Hilton. Her wild ways finally caught up to her after a car accident that saw her being charged for driving under the influence. Her third attempt at rehab, Lindsay entered the Cirque Lodge where she went through treatment and she left rehab in October 2007.

And in 2008, despite a roller-coaster year of arrests, drug abuse, rehab, and not-so-great films, Lindsay Lohan still managed a spot on AskMen.com's Top 99 Most Desirable Women list proving that no matter what happens, the public (read: men) still love Lindsay Lohan for who she really is.
