Ashlan Gorse

Biography

Ashlan Gorse was born and raised in North Carolina. After graduating with a degree in broadcasting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill's School of Journalism in 2002, Ashlan Gorse moved to New York City and got into the NBC Page Program. There, she worked on a number of NBC shows, including Saturday Night Live, Today and Late Night with Conan O'Brien.   

She then landed a job as a production assistant, and later as a field producer, at Access Hollywood before joining MSNBC as a reporter on Hot List and At the Movies, the channel’s weekend entertainment shows.

In Los Angeles, Ashlan Gorse became an editor-at-large for Life & Style magazine, a position that made her a much-in-demand celebrity and pop culture commentator for shows ranging from Live with Dan Abrams to The O'Reilly Factor and CBS' The Early Show, to name a few.

Ashlan Gorse had been serving as the host of the online E! News Now until May 2008, when she became a correspondent on E! News. In this capacity she has worked on every major awards show, including the Oscars, Emmys, Golden Globes, and the Grammys.
